Description: This listing is for a beautiful, but altered, vintage Roseville blue Cosmos vase 955-10 . It was originally an ewer and apparently somewhere along the years it was cut off to a vase which explains why the size is not consistent with the number on the bottom of the vase. Cosmos is a pattern that was introduced by Roseville Pottery in 1939. This piece was given to me, in it’s current condition, as a kid in the ‘70s. I always thought it looked a little bit off, but never outwardly questioned it until it was pointed out to me by others that it had been an ewer that had been cut. There is a chip noted on the bottom of the piece photo #7, and three inches gone from the original top. I have collected pieces of Roseville most of my life, but I am by no means an expert. I have made the decision to begin to part with many pieces of my lifelong collection of art pottery, most of which, not all, is seen in the last three photos. Photo #8 shows this vase along with another vase (Hull) I have listed. I have several beautiful pieces of art pottery listed. Please take a look at all my listings and thank you!
