Description: Vintage Black Tailcoat Morning Coat Men’s Size Medium-Purchased in Paris This tailcoat, morning coat was purchased used in France in about the year 2000. I believe it is about 70 years old. (This is according to the previous owner.) It has some minor wear and soiling as shown in my pictures--see my pictures of the lining and of the armpit section. The stitching is in excellent shape. (I do show some minor frayng on a small portion of the left side.) I don't believe it has any major issues. According to my measurements it is about 42 inches long, 17 inches from shoulder to shoulder, with sleeves about 25 inches from shoulder to cuff. It belonged to a friend of mine who was rather skinny and stood about 5' 10"and weighed 175 pounds when he purhased it. I assume that would translate to a size 38 or 40.
