Description: This is for a vintage, original 1966 concert poster for shows at the Fillmore Auditorium presented by Bill Graham. In the Bill Graham series of posters it is numbered BG-4-OP-1. The featured groups are Jefferson Airplane, Quicksilver Messenger Service, & Lightning Hopkins on April 29-30, 1966. It is in great condition as shown by its CGC grade of 9.0. It is also signed by the late poster artist, Wes Wilson, in pencil in the lower right ticket info margin. These early Fillmore posters were relatively limited in pre-concert printing runs so they are fairly rare to come across, especially in this condition. The major flaw I can see is there is a very mild bend/fold across the width of the poster in the ticket margin about 9/16" up from the bottom edge with light discoloration or aging. It doesn't break the paper surface or cause any wrinkling or crease marks. Payment due within 3 days of sale. Here is a description of the flaws I noted on the graded poster (these flaws were part of the poster prior to grading so CGC's grading takes them into account): lower right corner: Soft, small corner rounding w/ mild diagonal corner crease ~5/16" long from ~3/8" to left on bottom edge & ~1/4" up right edge from corner, pencil signed "Wes Wilson" below image area in ticket info area. bottom edge: slight fold running the width of poster with mild discoloration/aging ~9/16" up from bottom edge. lower left corner: small diagonal corner crease ~1/16" long w/ area of surface wear ~1/2" up left edge to ~13/16" up from bottom edge & ~1/8" wide. upper right edge: near veritcal corner crease ~5/16" long from ~9/32" down right edge to ~3/32" along top edge from corner. right edge: vertical crease ~1/8" longdown right edge & ~3/32" into margin, small vertical handling crease ~9/16" long & ~3/32" deep from ~3/8" down right edge to 3" down right edge.
