Description: Holy Bible (Old and New testaments) published by the Oxford University press, including rare map of Palestine published by T.Nelson & Sons plus additional colour maps on the back pages. The book is Dated 1900 and signed with the name 'K.M. Benson' and 'Katie M Tucker', 26th May 1902. There are various handwritten notes in the back pages, and other bookmarks, photographs and pieces of paper which appear to be associated with the Benson / Tucker family. Also included is an order of service for the National Day of Intercession, 3rd January 1915. This service, to recognise the sacrifice of those who had died and to pray for peace, was used in churches throughout the then British Empire, by order of King George V. Good condition for the age. Some wear to the edges of the covers and the spine and a few dog-eared pages. The book is approximately A5 size. This is a fantastic book that appears to have been used as someone's personal bible for a number of years, and its age and history is supported by an interesting collection of items.
