Description: VINTAGE NORITAKE Frank Lloyd Wright ART DECO IMPERIAL HOTEL CHINA - BERRY BOWL This is Frank Lloyd Wright designed dinnerware based on a design for the Imperial Hotel, Tokyo, c1922 commissioned by Thomas Heinz, made by Noritake. Heinz and Co. was established to reproduce these pieces in a very limited edition of 1000 place settings, by Noritake in 1984. The asymmetrical, geometric pattern is the epitome of Art Deco with the colorful interlocking circle pattern on a whited background. It is marked "Heinz and Co, 1984 Noritake, Japan. The berry bowl is 5 5/8" diameter x 1.25" high. It is in very excellent condition for its age with no chips or cracks or wear. (It looks like it was never used.)
