Please see photos for condition and dimensions. *The lid has a tendency to sit slightly off kilter if not positioned correctly, as can be seen in the last two photos. I don't think this is an issue, but I had someone buy this item and return it. She said that the item was defective and that her cookies would go stale. As this person claimed the item was misrepresented, I ended up losing $40 for shipping it two ways. I would very much like to avoid that kind of thing in the future. It's not a modern jar mass produced to very strict tolerances... just an old cookie jar from my granny's house.
