Description: This is a lovely vintage, or possibly antique, round wooden box with a silk fabric lining. It has two red roses on the lid that appear to be hand painted. The box is shaded from a warm brown on one side to black on the other. This shading extends to the underside as well. It measures 6-3/4" in diameter and stands 2-1/4' tall. It is unmarked. The underside of the lid is lined in green silk, and the interior of the box is lined in light golden silk fabric. The lining on the lid is wearing thin and has torn in two places. The lining in the box is in great shape - bright, clean, and no damage. Paint is missing from the roses on the top of the lid as you can see in the photos. It may have been taped closed, leaving the spots when the tape was removed. There are scratches on the bottom too, and a small scuff on the side.
