Description: A unique piece of art, this vintage Turkish or Ottoman cepken jacket is heavily embroidered from front to back, embellished with metal "sequins" and other small beads or decorations throughout. The deep blue outer contrasts the faded red or pink liner beautifully. No tags are present and the fabric is thought to be wool. A wonderful decorative piece, this jacket is in great condition for its age and is solid enough to easily handle or carefully wear; it measures approximately 20 inches shoulder to shoulder with a 27 inch sleeve length when laid flat. If you need more in depth measurements, let us know! The overall condition is great, with some small pinholes and loose beads or threads and fading of the liner.
