Vintage Antique 1930s Remington Portable Black Typewriter with Case RARE

Description: This typewriter belonged to my grandfather who was born in the early 1900s. I believe it is from the 1930s. I have had it on display only and have NOT attempted to use it. There is no ribbon attached to the spools. It comes with a hardcover case, which does have some damage. The case does not close completely...I think the lock may be broken. It could all use a good cleaning, as there is dust in many crevices. Again, it had not been tested. Please look at all photos, as they are part of the description.
