Albert Staehle'ssignature can be seen to the right of Butch's shadowalong with the copyright B&B (Brown & Bigelow) USA symbol. The bottom portion of each card is printed with thename and address of the Esso service center gasstation that these delightful playing cards represented:RAY & GILL ESSO SERVICENTER2301 E. Colvin St. at Nottingham Rd.(which was located in Syracuse New York). Esso was changed to Exxon back in 1972. There are 52 cards in this vintage Brown & Bigelowdeck of playing cards, no jokers (no box). Circa 1950's. The ace of spades reads:MADE BY BROWN & BIGELOWST. PAUL. MINN.U.S.AN-6 Weighs 2.5 ounces.
