Vintage Aero Pak Train Case; Gray W/Red Qultd Interior; Mirror/Tray; Lock & Key

Description: This classically designed vanity train case is by Aero Pak. Made of sturdy vinyl in a beautiful dark gray, the case has a tweed-like look with double stitching along the bottom and around the lid All hardware on the case is antique silver tone including the latch and locking mechanism on the front of the case, the three back hinges attached to the lid and the signature monogrammed “Aero Pak” name attached on the bottom right side of the case. The case has a sturdy top handle in gray vinyl held on by antique silver tone hardware. There are four antique silver tone round pegs on the bottom of the case for protection. The interior of the case is lined in a beautiful brilliant red satin fabric with two gathered elasticized holders on either side of the quilted bottom to hold small items. The inside of the lid has sweet red satin ruffling all along the sides of the quilted lining and a large square mirror held by a red satin double elasticized holder in the middle. A 13 1/4” long by 4 1/4” wide off-white plastic tray with three divided sections is included with the case and it sits perfectly on the top interior by the two holders on either side of the of the case. An antique silver Presto key is also included for locking and unlocking the case and it works easily with the front locking mechanism. The train case weighs about 4 lbs and the dimensions are 14” long, 9” wide, 8” high and it is 5 1/4” deep. This amazing Aero Pak vanity train case is from the 1960’s and it is in wonderful vintage condition. As expected with age, there are a few slight markings, scuffs and wear on the exterior vinyl along all sides and bottom of the train case. There are no dents, cracks, chips or deep scratches on the exterior of the case. The interior of the case is in beautiful condition with a few faint markings in the satin on the bottom and sides and one small tear on the back right corner. The mirror and the tray are both in good condition with faint markings as expected with age but there is no chips or cracks on either and no cloudiness in the mirror glass. See all photos.
