Description: You are buying an 8 X 10 B&W photo of the No. 36 Roger Penske Chevy Camaro and the Jim Baker-entered No. 72 Ford Mustang as they leave the infield and hit the banked turn during the 1967 Daytona 24 Hours. Mark Donohue drove this car in the TransAm race that Friday, and George Wintersteen / Joe Welch / Bob Brown drove it to 26th place the next day in the 24 Hours event. Paul Richards, Ray Cuomo and John Norwood won the Touring Over-2 Liter class and finished 11th overall in the Mustang. This is a true 8 X 10 with no borders printed at a photolab on archival photo paper from a negative taken by Bill Brannon, a photojournalist and regional editor of Competition Press (now Autoweek) in the 1960's. This photo has never been published before. See my store for more auto racing photos from 1960's races at Daytona, Sebring, Road America and more.
