Description: Description: Listed here is a mid-size vintage satchel purse by Gucci. I’ve seen these referred to as Boston bags and part of the Sherry line at Gucci, but I do not know many specifics beyond that. The purse is vintage and likely from the 80s. Included with the purse are the original, removable crossbody strap and the Gucci branded dust cover. Please also note: the purse HAS NOT been formally authenticated and WILL NOT come with any papers stating such. Condition details follow right below. Thanks for looking! Condition: Good vintage condition, with some flaws. Some very light surface wear from use, age, and storage. This is most noticeable on the leather piping(?) edges - particularly at the base. I would be happy to provide close-up photos of these imperfections. Further, the interior is much more worn-in looking. Some of it may be remedied with professional cleaning, but some of it appears to be wear to the fabric itself. Light ‘scuff’ style wear to metal hardware. The photos above depict the EXACT purse you’ll receive, so please take a look for the best idea of condition. Please do feel welcome to ask absolutely any questions you may have about the condition or even for additional photos. Measurements: The bag is about 11’’ wide, 7.5’’ tall, 5.5’’ deep. The handles, when vertical, sit about 5.75’’ over the top of the bag itself. The crossbody strap is about 4’ long, end-to-end at its current setting, but can be adjusted slightly. The bag (laid flat) is about 13’’ by 12.5’’. Marks/Signatures: The interior has a gold-tone metal tag on the leather flap that reads “Gucci” in script followed by “MADE IN ITALY” and the arrowhead Gucci logo. On the opposite side of the leather flap reads the serial number “002.58.4422”. The interior pocket’s zipper pull is the Gucci arrowhead logo.
