Description: Vintage 70s Universal Studios Tin Metal Salt & Pepper Shaker Set Plastic Holder What a great vintage souvenir of Universal Studios. I have no idea when these were produced, but my best estimate is in the 1960's -1970's time frame. Each shaker features wording "UNIVERSAL STUDIOS" and cartoon style graphics. Take a look at the great detail. I believe the shakers are tin. The basket is soft bendable plastic and is marked "made in Hong Kong" and has an original price sticker on the bottom, unfortunately the ink has faded to a point that the original price is not visible. Condition is pre-owned, but shaker interiors are clean so I think they were just used as display. There is some scuffed off paint on the tops and what isn't rust, but maybe a loss of gold tone on the bottoms or metal pitting. There are no dents or dings. The basket appears a little faded on the top part of the handle, but there are no breaks or tears in the plastic. Enlarge and look at all photos for more details on condition, design and size.
