Description: This is a vintage 1970s/1980s postcard featuring a photo of Italian opera composer Gioaccino Rossini. Original 1856 photo by "infamous" photographer Felix Nadar. Rossini composed many operas, but probably is best know for "The Barber of Seville." Fotofolio, New York, NY. 4 1/4" x 6". Excellent condition with just a bit of light surface wear. Never used. Acquired about 25 years ago from the estate of a big collector who traveled the world and had some very scarce paper items. This will be shipped in an envelope between paperboard sheets as protection; stiffeners may not be used (per USPS regulations) at this shipping rate.
