Description: VINTAGE 70s DANSK JENS QUISTAARD SQUARE GLASS CANDLE HOLDER Here's a very nice-- and unusual-- glass candle holder by world-renouned designer Jens Quistaard for the Mid-Century Modern titan of home furnishings design, Dansk. The candle holder is intended for pillar candles that had a hollowed-out space that fit right over the glass "post". These pieces were hand crafted in studio, making for slight differences in the glass with no two exactly alike. Versatile, this piece can be used for holding rings, bangle bracelets, and more. With its unique shape and color, it becomes an art object that makes a statement all on its own! Approximate Dimensions: 4 in H3.5 X 3.5 W Original Dansk sticker is still intact. Jens Harald Quistgaard was a Danish sculptor and designer, known principally for his work for the American company Dansk Designs, where he was chief designer from 1954 and for the following three decades. This glass candle holder is in expected vintage condition with slight characteristics indicative of age including wear. No chips, dents, cracks or disfiguring scratches.
