Description: Vintage 1960s true classic, Ivory heavy silk blend sheath gown with matching short bolero back zipper jacket. This measures to be a size for by contemporary standards. The bust measures 32 inches, the waist measures 28 inches, the hips measure 40 inches, and the dress is 54 inches long. There is extensive beating at the bodice of the dress and on the front and back of the short jacket. I did note a few loose threads and possibly a missing pearl, see the photos for details. The skirt portion of the dress does have a tool slip it is pinned to the inside of the dress. I’m not sure if it’s original with the dress or if it was added by the original owner. Noteworthy items include stitches missing from a portion of the hem, the underside of the hem skirt. Does show some soil, there’s also a spot noted on the lower portion of the skirt, see the photos..
