VINTAGE #4 PONYTAIL BARBIE OOAK w/ REROOTED LEMON BLONDE HAIR

Description: This stunning VINTAGE #4 PONYTAIL BARBIE OOAK w/ REROOTED LEMON BLONDE HAIR has been modified to enhance her beauty. The earlier #4 Barbies were marked with a TM and the later #4 Barbie's were marked with an . Her body is marked TM & is made of rubber, not plastic as was standard beginning with #5 Barbies. Her makeup and nails have been retouched or repainted utilizing acrylic paint. Her hair has been rerooted to a lovely lemon blonde color, than hard curled, styled and lightly sprayed to hold the curls. Her head is flocked. She has no chew marks, no nose nips, no head splits, no pinpricks, no green ear. Her arms/legs move as intended. She has some scrapes, scratches, nicks, staining & dents on her body as expected for a 60-year-old doll. PLEASE NOTE:I do not know her history as I am not the original owner. She has the usual dents in her upper legs which occurs during manufacturing when attaching the legs to the torso. She had a small area of green air which has been treated. Slight flawing remains. She has a flaw in her right breast which may have occurred during manufacturing or as a result of damage. I took pictures of her arms and legs to show the dents in the rubber. Her zebra swimsuit is of unknown age and may have fading, stains, discoloration, runs, tears, holes, torn seams, thinning, torn hems, etc. there is a light pink stain on the right lower front of the zebra swimsuit in the white area. Her new black pumps were modified by me to resemble the original pumps. Her hoop earrings were also made by me and have nylon posts to keep her ears from turning green. She was no doubt purchased as a toy and played with by children. She is not for the collector looking to purchase a doll in mint condition. Stand is not included. I have been repairing & restoring Barbies for over 25 years & spend many hours on each Barbie. I do my best to describe all flaws & repairs but may have missed something so please examine the pictures closely and ask questions as my vision is not as good as it used to be.
