Description: It always upsets me when a gifted artist doesn't sign his/her work; they deserve recognition, especially when the piece lasts through generations. In this particular case, the artist may have created this pumpkin person specifically for my late, Halloween-loving sister Betsy. She lived among and nurtured lots of creative folks in Pittsburgh, PA, where we grew up and she remained. Or she may have found it along her many collecting travels throughout the region, where craftspeople don't always feel the need to sign their work; it stands for itself. I'd love to see this lovely piece in the hands of someone who has lots of Halloweens to come. NOTE: To save you a lot of money shipping, I plan to disconnect the arms and legs, very carefully, which you should be able to rewind (same wire) when you receive it. Otherwise, the shipping cost will be considerably more (size matters!). If you'd prefer the arms and legs stay wired, let me know before you buy and I'll give you a revised shipping cost.
