VINTAGE 3 SL SKIPPER LOT Barbie Clothing BRIDESMAID School Silk + SHOES LOT BIN!

Description: Here are 3 cute Skipper dolls, ready for school or a party, or maybe they're going skating! These dolls have all been gently played with, so they're not for "Mint" collectors, but they still are quite pretty, with silky hair, and they look great in vintage Mattel outfits. They don't have any green staining, nose nips, or neck splits. Their bodies are in Excellent shape with no smokey smells. There's a bright copper penny Redhead Titian Straight Leg Skipper, a Blonde SL Skipper, and a Brunette SL Skipper. The dolls and some of their original tagged clothing might need repair/and or cleaning; the lot includes an original red swimsuit, Skating Fun, a Flower Girl dress, Silk 'n Fancy dress, Dress Coat and hat, Platter Party dress, a Junior Bridesmaid dress that needs new sleeves, a School Days sweater and skirt, lots of clone and several homemade & clone outfits. There are also some shoes and a vintage yellow Skipper case that has a working latch, handle and the 2 interior accessory drawers. The Kaiser doll stands are not included in this sale. I will never describe anything as "Mint" unless I've just taken it out of the original package. I've collected vintage Barbie for 30+ years, and I scrutinize the items I sell on eBay; if I haven't addressed something important to you in my description, please ask me a question:). You may want to save me as a seller, as I am selling a large vintage Barbie collection on eBay. I have given the dolls and case a light wipe down, but the dolls might need a "detailed" cleaning, as their arms and legs have a little residual soil. Some of the clothing might need cleaning and/or repair also. Blonde Straight Leg Skipper: Looks like Alice in Wonderland with all of her long, silky light blonde hair. Her longer hair is very smooth and in nice condition, though her bangs are slightly dry. Her pink lips are a bit thin, and her right brow is light on the outer tip. No green staining, nose nips, or neck splits. She is marked Skipper 1963 Mattel, Inc. on her right butt cheek. Her arms and legs hold all poses, and don't have any chews. I can see that she has some faint pinkish staining at the top of her thighs (mostly on her left thigh, I think from wearing her original red swimsuit for many years), see pics #22 & #23. The very tops of her arms have some pinkish staining too, (mainly at the right arm), but it's not obvious & I don't think it will bother you. You could use Remove-Zit to treat these areas, & I think those stains would come out. Redhead Titian Straight Leg Skipper: This girl has super shiny copper penny hair! Her long hair is in wonderful condition, though her bangs look slightly dry. Her lip paint looks great, but she does have wear on her outer right brow. No green staining anywhere, nose nips or neck splits. Her body is marked Skipper 1963 on her right butt cheek. Her arms and legs hold all poses, and don't have any chews. Brunette Straight Leg Skipper: Has trimmed hair which is still thick, shiny & quite pretty! Her bangs look good too, as they haven't gotten dry or frizzy. She has very nice facial features with good brows and lips. She doesn't have any green staining, or nose nips or neck splits. Her body is marked Skipper 1963 Mattel Inc. on her right butt cheek. Her arms and legs all poses; she doesn't have any chews. She has some faint tannish spots at the very top/back of her arms, they look like they will clean off. Accessories Pic #14: These are all the accessories included: 3 pair red Japan flats, (1 shoe has a crack at the front of the shoe). 1 pair white Japan flats, & 1 pair black Japan flats. The Japan skates need their blades glued to the bottom of the boot, but they don't have any tears. Record player missing arm, record is cardboard. Skipper's original swimsuit is clean, looks good, just has relaxing elastic at the waist. Clothing Pics #15 & #16: Silk 'n Fancy dress: Looks pretty but has faint small marks on skirt front. Velvet shows some wear, mainly at back top of dress. Both underarms need repairs, as the seams have pulled apart. Skating Fun: skirt looks good. Jumpsuit needs small sleeve seam repairs on each arm; there is color bleeding on the white top part in back, see pics #11 & #12. Small diagonal run on back of top, runs at back elbows of sleeves, and a run up the front of the left leg. Junior Bridesmaid dress: Clean dress is worth repairing. Sleeves need to be replaced, and a 1" section of the tulle skirt has pulled away from the waist at back right seam of bodice. Needs a little steaming. Pics #17 & #18: Dress Coat & Hat: Nice velvet shows little wear, very clean. The coat's lining has a small spot at center back hem. School Days Sweater & Skirt: Sweater has been mended where the pin points (see pic #19), but has a repair at left chest area. There's a tiny hole at the cuff of the right sleeve (on left cuff in pic #5). Has all buttons. Skirt is clean, a bit fuzzy, needs a press. Red Sensation dress: Missing 1 button, needs 1/2 of each snap resewn at back, all of snaps are there. Flower Girl dress: Has a dingy top & pinkish areas on skirt, maybe they would wash out. Ribbons look worn; 1 at right shoulder looks short. Platter Party dress: Shows lots of velvet wear on the front and back of the top; rest of dress looks fine. Pics #20 & #21: All homemade & clone clothing in these pics seems pretty clean. Turquoise coat tagged Hong Kong needs underarm seam repairs. Pink clone print sundress with pink sweater is clone, very nice. Half slip is newer, closes with velcro. Green jumper outfit & yellow print pajamas are very cute. Blue checked dress needs all of its edges finished. Yellow top & print skirt at right are newer, close with velcro. Red corduroy jacket is clone. Yellow Skipper Case Pic #24: This case is in nice condition for its age. The graphics on the front look great, and the case has an intact handle clasp. Both Skipper accessory drawers present, and the elastic cord to hold the doll in is there, though it needs to be knotted on 1 side. The outer side hinge bottoms have 1/4" tears in the vinyl, but the tops look good. The inside hinges do show tearing, but the case will store Skipper and her outfits quite nicely.
