Description: Mid Century 2 Large India Papier Mache Paper Head Bust Sculpture Folk Art Rajasthani Couple. The women is 13 1/2” tall and the man is 16” tall. They are 9” wide, from ear to ear. Stylized pigment painting on papier-mache. From the 1950s or 1960s. These are really cool and a great conversation piece. In good vintage condition. The man has a paint chips on both of his ears, one under his eyebrow and on his nose. The women has a small paint chip on her ear, nose, bellow left eyebrow, and on her lip. There are no cracks. There are several scuff marks on the black paint, hair on both heads. Please see all pictures, as they are part of the description. If you would like any addition pictures, just let me know.
