Description: Very nice vintage 1992 Trek 9000 this was $1500-1600 back in 92’. This has the replacement rubber bushing shock done to it and rides very comfortably. They came with a polymer bushing style shocks that deteriorate over time and unfortunately has lead to these becoming rare. It’s fully Deore equipped and is definitely overbuilt back when Trek was built in the USA. This will and is going up in value, its collector status of a MTB. The front fork holds air and feels tight but I haven’t taken it on any rough rides “planned on rebuilding it before buying the bike , but not sure it even needs it!” This has definitely been used and someone had fun , it’s got some small scratches here and there but overall I’d say it’s nice. I personally have only installed the IRC redish sidewall tires I had, I had them way before the bike I thought they would look nice. They are either nos or near nos condition, I was waiting for the perfect bike. They are quite valuable on their own. I also had the OEM Trek handlebar ends. I then bought a stem that I thought matched the swingarm OEM splatter paint style / scheme . “I’ll include the original stem trek used”. I left it at that to keep the 80’s/90’s look/style. It does have a set of comfortable Original John Tomac design grips :) Like everything I planned on keeping this but I’m kinda forced to sell. ** price includes me taking the bike to a local bike shop where the bike is boxed up. Please keep in mind I’m charged $40 for this but it come in an actual bike box. I know I could do it cheaper ways but for the safety of the bike I do it this way. I’ve never had any problems. * the pic where its against the house has a different seat on it. I was trying things out :)
