Description: Description: Roland Jahn Vintage Signed and Dated Heavy Art Glass Bowl. Multicolored with purples, blues, yellow and green. If you have an appreciation for one of a kind hand made art glass, this really is a stunning piece. This is a unique and hard to come by beautiful collector’s piece, notwithstanding high-end collector’s auctions. Roland Jahn was a German born, American blown glass artist who created the glassblowing program at Philadelphia College of Art. His works are featured in the Delaware Art Museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and Corning Museum. Sadly, Roland Jahn passed away in November, 2023. Condition: Pristine Pre-Owned Condition. There are no signs or scratches, or chips. The bottom has a satin polished finish with no scratches. Specifications: Approximately 4.5 inches deep with a 6-inch diameter Seller Care and Transparency: Most of my listings are either “like new items”, or unusual, unique, Retro, Vintage, Antique, etc. They are usually old pieces or even new items in original boxes which could show little or substantial shelf wear. With the multitude of item’s I find, many may have minor imperfections, e.g. bubbles in blown glass, light wear, small flaws, Artist's molds, marks, flares, discrepancies in patterns and cuts. There are instances that some of these imperfections are done intentionally by the Artist. I do not point out these flaws or imperfections unless the quality of the item is affected. Numerous items need the Patina unaltered. Otherwise I do gently clean each item with a soft cloth. I do research, inspect and describe my items as carefully and as completely as possible, but I am not an expert.
