Description: Offered for sale is a used, Vintage 1987 Ertl 1:16 John Deere Model M Tractor, 1947-1952, Mfg. Part No. 540DO. The Serial Number is 0297, which indicates that this specific toy was produced on the 29th day of 1987. This vintage JD Model M tractor is used and has been displayed. It is in excellent condition with one decal (head badge) slightly peeling. I sell all items as is. The actual 22 horsepower tractor was produced by John Deere from 1947 to 1952 at the Dubuque, Iowa factory. The M had been in development for several years during World War II prior to its introduction in 1947. The M replaced the H, L, and LA models. Three additional variants; the MT tricycle, MC crawler model, and MI industrial model were also built. The M was the first tractor to be produced at Deere's new Dubuque factory. This is a very nice older (34 years old) diecast metal replica that would make a great gift or awesome addition to any collection/display. Thanks for looking!
