Description: Vintage Austin Sculpture Winged Griffin Temple Bowl up for sale from a local estate. It is made of solid Chalkware making it super heavy and it measures approx 9” H, 11.5” diameter, and 12” between each of the 3 figures. The bowl is based on Ancient Greek mythology and features a Greek Key pattern along the top rim. It looks like an artifact that would be found in an ancient Egyptian pharaoh’s tomb! It is marked on the base and inside the bowl. It appears to be dated 1987, but I cannot quite make out the artist. This unique and hard to find piece is in GOOD AS FOUND condition. Two of the winged Griffins have some damage: one beak and finial.
