Description: VINTAGE 1980’s DISTRESSED LEATHER LODIS SPAIN BOX HARDSIDE BRIEFCASE BAG R$898 My bags are the antidote for the poly-lined synthetic leather run-of-the-mill bags being produced in China. Most of my bags are full-grain leather; Artisan craft, with authentic distressed character, and many with modifications unique to our line. We only use high-grade men’s belts for shoulder straps. This leather is reminiscent of equestrian leather halter straps. I also use half centimeter thick mooseskin. Nothing wimpy here; quality and character that stands out and stands the test of a truly rugged lifestyle. Invest in a bag that you’ll love more and more over time. Not all leather bags are created the same. A great quality leather bag is supposed to look better with time as the leather acquires marks and age-related wear. Make sure to check out my whole store. At the time of this listing, I have 180 items all unique and different. Many with added Mooseskin handles; my “trademark” unique idea. Once you have tried it you will wonder how you functioned before without an inside handle. Also on many of my briefcases, I add a mooseskin handle wrap. The handle is the point of contact that the owner has with their bag and mooseskin is so pleasing to touch. My philosophy in writing descriptions is: a picture speaks 1000 words. That said, here is my description: —- About the brand: The name LODIS is a union of the brand’s two founding elements: “LO”- derived from Loewe of Spain, Madrid’s most exclusive leather goods house; and -”DIS”, the initials of Daniel Isaac Segat. What I love about this briefcase is it's beautiful leather and a rich color and of course the retro box style traditional briefcase. I really wonder sometimes why we have tended ignore these beautiful cases for the modern soft sided shoulder strap cases. A box style briefcases fun to use! The Klakaty, Klakaty when opening the locks is such a great thing of the past. It has superior protection and is easy to get your gear inside. • Everything's in nicely distressed shape and please note monogram spot under the handle where I sanded off the monogram. I took photos in the direct sunlight so you can see that part clearly. When you have it vertical The handle lays over the small spot and it's barely noticeable. • After sanding off the monogram, I decided that the whole case needed to match better as the monogram stuck out as the only distressed portion of the case. I have used a fine sand paper and distressed the rest of the case by hand to match. It looks great! I then reconditioned the leather and the result I really like. • Combination set to 927 • The measurements are approximately: 17x12x3 inches. As show in the photos: As show in the photos: This bag fits my mock-up wooden MacBook Pro 2017 with the measurements of 13.75” x 9.48” x Thickness 0.61” It may fit a bit larger laptop so please contact me if you want me to measure for your specific laptop. This bag fits my iPad Pro 12.9 very nicely. Measurements of the 12.9 are in inches: 12.04 x 8.69 x .27 for your reference. No need to carry large rolling bags anymore. Now with our tech (tablets and small laptops) getting smaller, we can carry vintage style bags instead of the “run-of-the-mill” bags being produced in the 21st century. I have this listed as a Men's bag but any woman who appreciates vintage leather goods could make this work for that perfect traditional briefcase look. This bag is not for beginners!
