It was then stored in a plastic bin with other childhood stuffed animals in the basement. Unfortunately, I thought it would be a good idea to put a scented fabric softener dryer sheet in the bin to make the animals smell "nice"--well, after decades it created an odor, so it will need to be aired out, washed or cleaned somehow to remove odor or placed outdoors for a while. I am leaving it up to the Buyer to decide to wash it or not because it still has the Original Tag attached and the fur still looks the same as when I first got it and I know some collectors prefer it to be unwashed/untouched. The Dog is in very good condition other than the odor. It still has the squeaker in its mouth.
