Description: Vintage 1976 Fender Precision Bass Neck & Tuners - Factory “A” Width! Very cool 1976 factory “A” P Bass neck with the original tuners! The “A” indicates a 1.5” wide nut, same as a Jazz Bass. The standard P bass nut is 1 5/8” (aka “B” neck). This is a very comfy and easy neck to play! It shows the typical wear, scratches and dings you’d expect from a 48 year old piece, but it’s structurally solid. No issues. Back of the neck is very clean. Fret board edges are smooth. I used this neck personally for the last several years. It plays fantastic. The neck is straight and the truss rod works good. The frets are original and they show wear. I think they’ll take another one more dressing down the road, but no work is necessary right now in my opinion. I got nice low action on it and great playability all across the board. The tuners and string tree are original 1976 and included in the sale.
