Description: Offered for sale is a used, Vintage 1973 Ertl 1:16th Scale John Deere 140 Lawn & Garden Tractor with Blade. It was part of the Lawn & Garden Series. It was Part Number 515. This vintage John Deere L&G tractor is used and has been played with lightly over the years. It has some paint chips and scratches as expected. It is also missing the deck lifting lever. Please look carefully at the pictures for additional details concerning condition. I sell all items as is. The actual 12 horsepower tractor was produced by John Deere from 1968 to 1974 at the Horicon, Wisconsin factory. The John Deere model 140 was built in two basic versions, the 140H1 and the 140H3. The H3 featured three hydraulic valves, providing the ability to operate multiple attachments. Additional information about this toy can be found on page 305 of the Standard Catalog of Farm Toys, 3rd Edition.
