Description: ***********The 11AOACB automatic movement, which received a complete overhaul in early 2022, keeps accurate time over an approximate 40 hour power reserve period. Although no service paperwork will be provided my watchmaker's service marking is etched on the inside of the case back.***********This vintage 1973 Bulova Snorkel day-date diver has a pristine matte black "-T SWISS T-" signed dial and the original lume on the hands, which remains fully intact and emits a quick burst glow after being exposed to bright light, has aged gracefully to a warm buttermilk hue. The bezel, which rotates bidirectionally with an appropriate amount of tension, shows wear and paint loss with the amber lume pip complementing the dial and patina beautifully. The all stainless steel case shows honest wear with signs of oxidation. The outer edge of the case back is stamped "BULOVA STAINLESS STEEL 666 FEET" with "3 617946" followed by "N3" stamped along the inner edge. The inside of the case back is stamped "C.R.S." followed by "7472" and "SWISS." The crystal presents as nearly blemish free. The 17 jewels unadjusted Swiss "BULOVA WATCH Co" stamped 11AOACB automatic movement works as it should having received a complete overhaul in early 2022. Although no service paperwork will be provided my watchmaker's service marking is etched on the inside of the case back. After recently winding the signed, screwdown crown 39 full revolutions the movement kept accurate time over an approximate 40 hour power reserve period. The quickset date function works flawlessly by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the final position until the desired date has been reached. Please note that the day wheel is in French. The crown winds buttery smooth. This watch measures approximately 39 mm excluding the crown, approximately 43 mm including the crown and approximately 22.5 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 10 mm. Including the crystal thickness measures approximately 12.5 mm. This watch comes on a "100% STAINLESS STEEL" and "ITRACO" stamped coffin link band that shows moderate stretch. I'd guestimate that it may fit up to an approximate 6.75 inch wrist. Although the movement runs strong and keeps accurate time there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch. Vintage means old and while my personal belief is that old-school means better quality and workmanship, things can and do go wrong from time to time. Any servicing costs going forward are your responsibility. Please thoroughly read this entire listing and kindly ask any and all questions you may have prior to buying as this sale is final and no refunds of any kind will be given. And please study the 23 high magnification pictures carefully as they are part of the description and serve as an accurate representation of the condition of this watch.Expedited and insured shipping along with signature confirmation will be provided. Thanks for looking!***********The 11AOACB automatic movement, which received a complete overhaul in early 2022, keeps accurate time over an approximate 40 hour power reserve period.
