Description: Vintage 1971 Bell Systems / Western Electric - Model 500DR-3 Rotary Telephone Description: This is a vintage 1971 Bell Systems / Western Electric - Model 500DR-3, Rotary Telephone in it's original box, with paperwork. It's hard to tell if this phone was ever used or installed. It's been sitting in storage for a very long time, and has accumulated dust, dirt, and some marks from age, storage, and handling. On the underside of the phone, there is also a bit of rust, again most likely from storage. Along with the phone there is the original box from Bell Systems, and an instruction manual for the phone. The box and manual have some wear & tear, stains, dents, and marks, but are in fairly good condition for being 53 year old paper items. I picked up this phone along with several other new & open box vintage phones, but I don't know their full history, so I'm just sharing everything I know about them.
