Description: This is a gorgeous vintage 1970s to 1980s era, well made, solid 18ct yellow gold & natural earth mined red ruby and diamond dress or cocktail ring band. Excellent vintage condition with no faults I can see. Beautiful piece and hard to find as they tended to be scrapped in the 1980s, now a resurgence in appreciation of these wonderful, well made and hand made cocktail rings The face of the ring is around 0.5cm (5mm) tall by 1.35cm (13.5mm) wide tapering to the band being around 0.2cm (2mm) wide at the back. The three beautiful, faceted natural earth mined red rubies are a gorgeous "pigeons blood" pinkish/red colour, well matched and each around 0.45cm (4.5mm) x 0.35cm (3.5mm) in size. The four beautiful sparkling brilliant cut natural earth mined diamonds are each around 0.1cm (1mm) in diametre. The ring is around a size O 1/2. Marked 18k, tested and guaranteed to be solid 18ct yellow gold and natural earth mined gemstones not plated, lined, hollow or filled. Total weight is around 2.40 grams. An amazing genuine vintage 1980s large and bold, solid 18ct gold, natural ruby and diamond cocktail ring band.
