Description: This vintage 1970s Acoma Pueblo Wedding Vase is a beautiful piece of Native American pottery from New Mexico. It is signed by renowned artisan Joyce Leno. The double-spouted wedding vase stands 6” tall and has a twisted handle. It is hand-decorated with geometric designs. The first owner said he acquired the vase in the 1970s or early 80s when he was on a temporary work assignment in New Mexico. He bought it for $27.50 (the price is still penciled on the bottom) and kept it as a souvenir. The vase needs a cleaning, but I did not want to try, for fear of damaging it. Be aware that it does have a few tiny chips (view all photos to see some examples). For this reason, I am pricing it below the appraised value.
