Having said that, this particular bass, from this particular year, with these particular features, was incredibly difficult instrument to research, despite the plethora of information regarding Gibson. Additionally, an insanely cool thing about this bass is that the pots are there to add another pickup or you could separate the coils on the humbucker and operate them separately. Our luthier thought this would be a really sweet modification for anyone who is adventurous and wants to try something different and expand the tonal range of the bass's single pickup.
