Description: A complete and wonderfully colorful 1965 vintage Springbok "SAN FRANCISCO" ("Puzzles in the Round"), artist unknown/uncredited, circular 20-1/4" fully interlocking jigsaw puzzle, C921. * Beautiful illustrations of nine of San Francisco's iconic landmarks and features: The Golden Gate Bridge, Union Square, Lombard Street, Fisherman's Wharf, Mission Dolores, Telegraph Hill and Coit Tower, Flower Vendors, Chinatown, and of course, Cable Cars:) * Made in the USA by Springbok Editions, New York, under license from John Waddington Ltd., Leeds, England. * Springbok's puzzles are famous for their unique die-cuts, sturdy pieces and clear, richly colored graphics. Within a puzzle, no two pieces are the same! * Puzzle comes in the original round box that measures approximately 14-1/4" in diameter by 1-1/2" high. The completed puzzle measures 20-1/4" in diameter. CONDITION: This is an authentic, pre-owned vintage item that is over 59 years old. * It is 100% COMPLETE (no missing pieces) and is in NEAR-MINT (pieces) to EXCELLENT (box) vintage condition. This puzzle has been very well cared-for and carefully stored. One of the oldest and most colorful of the original circular Springboks, it will be a great addition to your vintage puzzle collection! * Please view all 19 photos, including closeups, and note that everyone's monitor/screen portrays colors, light reflections, and shadows differently. * The pieces are LIKE NEW--glossy, sturdy, and bright--and the artwork is stunning. I saw no flaws; NO bent, broken, torn, chewed, or replacement pieces. * The back of the puzzle is GREEN, with age-typical toning/fading and one tiny bit of paper loss. Pieces fit together perfectly--it passes the "pick-up test"--and the finished puzzle lays flat and smooth. * The box is beautiful, sturdy, and in EXCELLENT vintage condition. There is NO tape. NO split seams. NO writing. NO repairs. The box-top art is beautiful and near-perfect. Only very light scuffs at the edges and sides. Box bottom shows virtually no shelf wear.
