Description: For sale is one of the most acclaimed small combo amps, the Fender Vibro-Champ. This amp dates to early 1965, as the output transformer dates to the fifth week of 1965. The power transformer has a date of the 39th week of 1964. As seen on the front and back of the faceplate, this was made prior to the CBS buyout, as the company name is Fender Electric Instruments, not Fender Musical Instruments. This amp has been well played, and has many stories to tell. Most of the electronic components are original from 1964/1965, a few resistors and the electrolytic capacitors have been replaced so this amp is ready for your next gig or recording session. The original speaker has been replaced by 20 watt Warehouse G8C ceramic speaker, a modern upgrade to the vintage Jensen C8N. The original upper back panel is missing. Please note that there is no footswitch, but the vibrato/tremolo is lush and deep. Both domestic and international shipping, both via FedEx
