Description: This is a very special all original 1964 Epiphone Sorrento! I got this from the original owner in Mississippi. Original grey case in excellent condition. The neck is a perfect medium size with a nice depth which isn't too thin like a lot of 60's guitars. Feels just like my vintage sheraton. Tune o matic bridge is original and I set up the intonation to be great! All original parts, pickup, knobs, tailpiece, tuners etc.. Big frets and plays great! I only had a pack of 12 gauge strings to put on so you may want to adjust the truss rod to whatever strings you use on it. This is the best era of Epi with the smaller cooler headstock. Very cool sunburst and color! VERY light weight! This guitar has checking and natural gorgeous wear and tear perfect for any vintage guitar lover. Feel and vibe is outstanding! No breaks! It has some stress marks near the input jack but they do not move and are not broke at all and the jack is firm and stable no issues. No extra holes drilled anywhere, no headstock breaks or anything bad! This is a gorgeous example of a golden era gibson made Epi thinline hollow body! The mini humbucker is strong! And cuts and punched so perfectly! Packs a nice volume and fat tone! This guitar came from original owner and has never been abused! Grab it before it's gone! NO RETURNS! You WILL have to setup the guitar with the strings and action you prefer! I bridge has plenty room to go up or down, and the truss rod is good to be adjusted depending on the gauges you use and tension you put on it! Shipping will be fully insured and it is $150 flat rate in usa.
