Stan Herman was one of the chief designers at Mr. Mort throughout the 1960’s and eventually he established his own namesake brand. The designs were mid-priced and affordable but the tailoring was exquisite. Mr. Mort was active from 1952 until the mid-1980’s, when the company ceased doing business. This listing is for a simple but elegant 2-piece ensemble with matching tie belt. The fabric is an elegant crepe. The sleeveless top is a simple pull-over design with no zipper or buttons. At the top of each shoulder is a sewn-in strap to hold the bra strap in place. The straight skirt has a zipper with an open kick pleat at the bottom. A matching fabric belt completes the look. Please note that the silver belt shown in some of the photos is not included but may be available in my store. It is only pictured to show design possibilities.
