Description: This unusual-looking vintage dress dates between 1963 to 1974, according to the Women's Union label sewn into the waistline inside the dress. There is no "makers" label inside anymore though so I can't get a size or fabric for you. I believe it is made of polyester or a blend of polyester & rayon and colors are navy & white and I would guesstimate it is a Medium. The front buttons up with gold metal buttons. The dress is decorated with stars on the top 2/3 of the dress and the bottom part of the dress is pleated and has straight lines and diamond shapes and square grids. There's a lot going on here folks!! At first glance the dress looks great but during a close inspection I find a few spots of wear in the fabric. I have taken photos of those spots and I've marked those areas by sticking straight pins next to them to help you find them (there are THREE pins in the last photo- they're hard to see). There is also a light yellowish ring at the backside of the collar neckline Measurements laying flat:-at the back from the nape center to the hem bottom is 38" long-top of shoulder seam to bottom edge of sleeve is 22.5"-across front bust is approx 17"-across front waist is approx 15-16"-across the hips is approx 18.5" Please ask any questions you might have. The clothing I offer are items I've found at auction and estate sales over the past many, many year. I'm selling them in the same condition I found them so that the buyer can choose the cleaning method they prefer.
