Description: Offered here is a rare circa 1960s rOtring "quatro" multi-pen in the familiar rOtring faceted sides on a chromed steel barrel and red ring on the top. The pen utilizes small sliders to propel the selected color or to retract it. It is 123.2 mm long and 9.5 mm in diameter. While the propelling and retracting mechanism has been tested and works, there are two missing cartridges and the others have dried up. Also, there are small, recessed rectangles which would have a color to indicate to the user what color the cartridge is. These are now devoid of color as far as I can tell, and would need a touch or paint, or perhaps colored adhesive paper inserts. Cosmetically, the pen is in nice, vintage condition with no dents or significant scratches. These older rOtring multi-pens are a bit of a rarity, especially in the United States.
