Description: This is a huge vintage lot of Campfire Girls wooden honor beads from the 1970s-1990s. The collection includes approximately 567 beads (only counted once so could be off by a bead or two). Additionally, there are four patches, a jamboree pin from 1998, two flat wooden beads with symbols, a trail seeker silver charm, and iconic plastic green disc with old campfire symbol on it. They make a great addition to any collection of historical memorabilia! From a smoke free home. Fun fact - I recall the following meanings for each color: red/white/blue (later replaced by same shape but solid blue) - citizenship/patriotism yellow - business blue - science brown - outdoors red - health/sports orange - home/hearth green - creativity purple - completion of a rank A large bead was awarded for every 10 honors completed within the corresponding category We ship same or next business day, Monday thru Friday. Please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you very much for looking.
