Piece came from the original family in Providence, and was 100 % used by there force in Rhode Island in the 1950's. Jacket is in amazing condition for its age with only minor aging and wear to contend with, and is one of the best examples of this era that I've seen to date. Piece is assumed to be made of horse leather due to its heavy nature, and what the company was known to use during that time, and has an amazing and quite clean wool lining. Piece comes complete with all of its original buttons and it comes complete with original leather strap used to place your badge. Piece has also been identified as a police motorcycle jacket by a former officer, as well as been cross referenced with the family.
