Description: Vintage 1950s 1960s White Tulle + Lace Cupcake Tiered Ruffle Wedding Dress As always, shown without any sort of additional crinoline underneath Might be tea length on some! 50” in length Vintage size 8 Estimated modern XXS - but PLEASE see measurements to confirm and/or make your own best judgment call. Please keep in mind, when looking at the measurements, there really is not any stretch. This dress was soaked / hand laundered, but will absolutely need to be pressed / steamed. This will either be shipped in a large polymailer or folded and shipped in a box. Again, it will absolutely need to be pressed / steamed. FEATURES: Back button closure. Lining. Tulle underlayer with a ruffled tulle and lace top layer. Unlined lace sleeves. COLOR: white with definite creamy undertones from age / time. WOUNDS FROM TIME: one section of a tulle ruffle (under a lace tier) has come unstitched / torn away from the tulle. Could be worn as is, but could also stitch or tack back. See last two photos. The buttons are a bit off color from age and again, this has an age related creaminess to it. There is definite creaminess to the lace with some parts of the lace having more creaminess than others (see thircd to last photo). It is possible if you soaked it again in Restoration it would lighten some more. MATERIAL: likely synthetic - a stiffer (not soft) lace. Measurements taken flat and APPROXIMATE Shoulder to shoulder- 15.5” Shoulder to waist seam (at side of basque waist) -16” waist at seam - 12” Smallest part of waist - 12” (this part of the waist begins 13” from shoulder - which is why this would not button on me) Hips not taken due to full nature of skirt Chest front (underarm to underarm with bust darts taken into account)- 17” Chest back (underarm to underarm)- 15” Shoulder to hem- 58” Sleeve length - 20” to wrist, 22” to end of point I am 5'2" weighed 107 pounds at the time the video was filmed and while I have a 24” waist at the smallest part, my waist is not 24” above or below that point so while I could button at the seam, I could not have buttoned this entirely even with help. It first hits 12” at the waist 13” from the shoulder. I was wearing 4" heels.
