Description: This is a Vintage 1948 Singer 221-1 Portable Sewing Machine W/Case. It is missing the top spool plate. I plugged this in and turned it on and it started to go. I didn't let it go too long in case it needs a tune up. The belt shows a bit of wear as well as other areas as shown in the photos. The sewing needle went up and down. It comes with the box the plug the accessories shown in the photos and the original manual. Now you can fix your old clothes with this old sewing machine. Happy mending!F9
