Vintage 1947 The World's Great Thinkers 4-Volume Philosophy Book Set w/Slipcase

Description: This vintage slipcased hardcover four-volume book set, "The World's Great Thinkers" comes in acceptable to good condition, with moisture damage to the slipcase that extends to the bottom corners of the "The Political Philosophers" and "The Philosophers of Science" (this volume has waviness to the pages, both have color bleed from the covers), minor wear to the spine ends, and minor additional handling wear and soiling (see pictures). The book set has good shelf appeal despite the condition issues noted. It was edited by Saxe Commins and Robert N. Linscott. It includes "The Political Philosophers", "The Philosophers of Science", "The Speculative Philosophers", and "The Social Philosophers".
