Description: Vintage 1940s Style Dress Set sweater Skirt Red Knit S M Pinup 40s 80s Vintage knit sweater skirt set - open chevron design in knit (almost like Victory V's!!) Pull-over short sleeve top with button accents at shoulders. A-line skirt with elastic waist. Lighter weight knit. Pattern with a lot of open detailing - suggest something underneath for modesty. A hard to photograph darker red. Made in the 1980s - has the period flavor of an earlier piece and can really be accented nicely with vintage details. The Kollection, size 8 (vintage sizing). Some give with knit - acrylic, polyester, nylon For comparison, shown on a dress form with a bust of 36 inches/ waist 26 / hips 36 inches.
