Description: You're looking at vintage 3/8 drive 26 piece snap-on FV model. Comes in the original snap-on red metal case which appears to be in decent condition for its age it's got one slight little thing many scratches but it serves the purpose and the latch closes. I don't know a whole lot about these sets however I know snap-ons are a fine tool made in THE GREAT USA. Doesn't seem to be much of that anymore these days so considering the age of this set I would have to say it is in really really good condition. So a quick little story I don't know what's on here and what's supposed to be and what's not supposed to be what I remember is that this was my grandfather's set and every day after school I will go to his house and I would go into his garage and he would be working on something a car motorcycle truck lawn mowers he was always doing something. And I remember I was very intrigued by the red brightness of this metal case and the shiny silver pieces in it so while he was working on vehicles I would help myself to his tools but I enjoyed most was removing all of the contents and playing with the red metal shiny box I'd fill it with sand and I would have fun. One day I came there and the set wasn't there he said he lost it. Shortly after he had passed many years later we were cleaning out the garage and there was the set in a box way up in the loft I guess he didn't want to lose any more pieces interesting. So I've had this set in my garage for the last 20 25 years shifting it around using it I just thought it was a cool story to let people know that I remember this set of tools in either case I'm starting the auction at $99 with a buy It now which I think is fair reasonable for this particular set $250 however if you have a very strong interest please feel free to message me and offer that you'd feel comfortable paying and I'll see what I can do on my end to arrange editing the auction for a different buy It now price.
