Description: Vintage 1940s wool gabardine belted coat, in a lipstick red. Coat closes with large lucite button at centre collar, one press stud at waist, and slide belt, with optional hook and eye. Shoulder pads, side pockets, wide sleeves, gorgeous seaming at back, a perfectly tailored dream coat. Fully lined in a shimmering pink satin. No makers label, but charmingly, has the original owner's name printed on the inside collar. Shown unpinned on a 34" bust, 26" waist, 35" hip mannequin. Bust: 40"Waist: 32" (can be cinched smaller with belt) Belt: hook set to 30", but you can cinch it smaller without using the hook and eyeHip: free/around 44" Shoulder: 15"Sleeve: 26" Length: 45" (top of mid shoulder to hem) Excellent, wearable condition, has been drycleaned. One small hole at back waist, some wear on belt, seam separation at one underarm lining, small seam separation at right sleeve cuff, small mark like green paint on right sleeve, and zip track at lining but no zip pull.
