Description: Vintage 1940s Brown Gray Wool Coat with Beadwork Embroidery Silk Lining AS IS. Here we have an authentic 1940s wool coat. It is a swing coat style with an exaggerated double collar and large pockets. The collar and pockets are heavily embroidered with a brown thread and beaded with black beads. The coat is lined with a pink/brown silk satin. There are two button holes under the chin for a ribbon or sash to fasten it closed. There is no other closure. The label in the neck reads " Schleisner Co, Baltimore Salisbury." The inner lapel label reads "Evalen Original, New York." There are generous shoulder pads. This jacket is in fair vintage condition.
