Description: An unusual and very film noir style portrait of a mysterious man in Downtown Manhattan, his face concealed by a hat, seated by what appears to be a construction site. It looks like he’s reading something on a small piece of paper he has in his hands. Classic cars in the background (if you can identify them, I’d love to know). Not enough architectural information for me to guesstimate where in the city he might be. Alluring and unique. Mounted to board which has a slight curve from age. Reverse reads (faintly), “Downtown”. Good condition. Measures 7.5 x 7.5 inches.
